Is it normal that i feel anxious when meeting friends

I am not a very social person and i hang out with my friends maybe once a month or so. Lately we haven't been able to match schedules so i haven't met them in a really long time, maybe once every 3/4 months.
I love my friends, they are great, but I don't need to be surrounded by people all the time, i like my alone time.

Now when i try to hang out with them and we set a date to meet up, the day prior/that same day i get sick. Like i feel like vomiting, and my hands shake a little, as well as my jaw. I'm happy to meet them but sometimes I feel like they make me anxious in a way?? (They are good people, it's not their fault)
I just don't understand.

Is it bc i isolate myself too much? What should i do?

Thats how I always feel before meeting someone. Its classic social anxiety symptoms. You can develop social anxiety anytime and isolating a lot can definietely make you develop it.

Its in part because you isolate yourself too much. Its a cycle you become reclusive because you get anxiety and then when you do go out you get more anxiety now since you havent been as social. Exposing yourself to it as much as possible is the only way to make it better.
