Is it normal that i dislike adults even though i am one?
When I was young, I was rebellious towards adults because like most kids, I didn't like following the rules. Growing up, I still retained some of the things I liked as a kid such as Pokemon. I didn't like it when adults tell you're too old to like certain things. (Not all adults are like that, but most of them are sadly.)
Years ago on my last year of high school, I was complaining to my elderly job coach about helping my little sister on video games. He made a supposed observation on the future that I'll have kids some day. At first I was afraid that it was going to come true but years later, nope! Never having kids.
The thing about most of the adults can be hypocritical such as telling the kids that we should be eating healthy when yet the adults don't do the same. This an example.
It didn't help my media consumption mostly consisted of franchises targeted to kids. I can relate to the young protagonists more than the adult ones.
If you don't think it's normal to hate adults, then what can I do to stop having a cynical view on adults?
I'm 26 years old BTW.
