Is it normal that i despise (neck-)ties?

So for a while now I've noticed that I HATE ties. It has gotten worse and it keeps getting worse, I just think they're insanely ugly and I can't believe it's pretty much necessary to wear one of these to specific Events like a wedding (I guess I would wear a suit but never in hell a tie).

Not only do I find them incredibly unattractive and even a bit disgusting they also annoy me a lot.
--> I love Sports (and Fitness). Football / Soccer for example. Off the field even pro players tend to wear suits and (neck-)ties for some reason, it doesn't fit to sports at all. You wear light and short clothes when you do sports or fitness, why the hell is it extremely common to wear suits and especially ties off the field then? It makes these people look pathetic to me TBH.
I'm never judging anybody that wears a tie, it's totally ok, I don't mind much. But I can't help but automatically feel some aversion to the person that does. I like reviewbrah for example, I don't regularly watch his videos but IMO he's a cool dude. Yet he always wears ties and I can't help but feel kinda disgusted by his ties when watching any of his videos.

But it gets worse. Okay.. Here's an example: If you were to be my girlfriend and you really wanted to break up with me but you wouldn't know how to do it.. Just wear a tie, maybe even daily. It would turn you from a straight 10 to a 2 maximum, even if you stopped wearing ties it would drop your attractiveness-level permanently since I would always have that picture in my mind of you wearing such an ugly piece of clothing. It's just SO insanely unattractive and ugly...

NO OFFENCE TO ANYBODY that likes and regularly wears ties. I know for most people they look great and that's totally okay, continue!

BTW: Bow-ties aren't quite as bad as neckties, but I dislike them aswell.

WHY?!: I'm really not sure. I'm in my teens currently so I remember quite well that even when I was like 3 years old I already hated clothing people would wear around their necks. Especially "neckerchiefs" or whatever you call them. It actually disgusts me to even utter the word, it low-key wants me to throw up, same goes for seeing neckties BTW. Of course I'll never throw up just because of that. Just mentioning it... Back then I didn't really notice ties. The hatred pretty much started growing a few years ago, Maybe when I was 12-13 I first started noticing that I dislike them.

Even "sexy bunny women" with these "tiny ties" are MEGA unattractive to me. That single piece of clothing is a total "turn-off" for me.
If I was forced to wear a tie in my future Job I'm 100% sure I would actually just quit. lol. I doubt (neck-)ties are a must-have for any Profession out there though.

Scarfs, those thick ones especially girls wear when it's cold are actually fine, even on men they can look ok. Nothing around the neck is Always better IMO but those are alright with me.

Especially if you don't wear a suit to it (or a jacked over the tie) - I actually think suits on their own can look quite nice -
I find ties ugly and kinda disgusting. It just dangles around and seems so out of place and unnecessary.

This is enough. Really wanted to get this off my mind and on this website. DOES ANYBODY HERE FEEL THE SAME WAY AS I DO ABOUT TIES? I found a blog or something online (Called "Angelfire") on which a guy talks about it. Just look up "I hate ties" and you should be able to find it, he talks about more reasons why one might despise ties.

I didn't check out any other posts on this website yet so no idea how people are around here but since there's probably quite a few mistakes in the wall of text I might aswell mention: English is not my first language.

The post was really long and I skimmed through most of it.

I dislike ties. I was in the military working a trade so I was usually in work clothes but the times in uniform I hated ties. Even now I just wear jeans and a t-shirt. The only time I wear a tie is at funerals and weddings and even there if I can get away with it I don't.
