Is it normal that i can't study more than 3 hours a day?

If I study longer I have a headache and feel really disgusted from doing it. I will fail my studies if I continue like this. Is it normal and how do other people manage to finish their studies?

It is actually very common to only be able to study for short amount of times, if it wasn't, then there would be many more collage graduates. Some people can't study at all, and they just feel sick and tend to get so sleepy they pass out. There are many ways to increase the effectiveness of studying, and many ways to get more studying in the day. One of the more effective/proven ways is meditation. Meditate through out the day, forcing your brain to do what you want when you want, and for most people will help concentration, and provide a placebo effect that is basically just added confidence when doing anything. Confidence is a big part of anything. Another way to increase productivity and amount of time you are able to study is proper breaks. There are many apps that get you to focus on something for a short amount of time (like 30 minutes) then take a break (1 to 5 minutes) and most people have nothing but great things to say about this way of studying. The important thing is to not go the full three hours of studying with out a break because doing that will make your body not like studying and will eventually reduce that three hours down to two hours, and just keep reducing. Your brain is a muscle, so you should train it like any other muscle, which is to work it in short bursts, and don't do the same thing over and over and over. There are brain training apps, and they have you work on one puzzle for a few minutes, then gives you a different puzzle.

Maybe you need to find creative ways to take short breaks in order to relieve stress? When I went back to college this past spring 2017 semester I bought some coloring books to help me chill out. It did actually make a difference.

Normal. My brain would be burned up. Study until you have had enough. Let your brain process what you learned. Forcing your way to study more is counter productive because you will get tired and frustrated and won't remember much the next day.

    You are NORMAL!
Those that study all day are just robbing their life.

Delete any useless homework. Be ruthless with studying. What do you have to know to get that grade You seek? It's a game.

Lots of exercise in between really helps.

What are you studying? Some subjects are more necessary to you than others. Focus on what is relevant. Short-term memory the rest of it.

I could never study outside school more than about half an hour. I realised age about 14 that an hour's detention once a week was a better deal than three hours homework every night, so I politely gave up homework for the rest of school.
If you've got brains you should be able to pass the final exams using what you've listened to in class.
