Is it normal that i can squirt easily with fingers but not during sex?

I have a great sex drive and enjoy clitoroul orgasms and/or vaginal orgasms almost everytime whether alone or with a partner. But one weird thing is I can only squirt by being fingered. I have friends who can squirt but say they can only squirt during sex. What is it I'm doing wrong to stop me from squirting while my man is inside me? I get the feeling like I may squirt when having sex and then I just stop and have a regular orgasm. Should he pull out when I am about to squirt or is there some technique for me to figure out? My ex husband would really make me feel guilty that he could make me squirt with his hand but not his penis and I tried to explain that I still orgasmed it just wasn't a "squirting" orgasm. A big reason we broke up was because our sexual relationship fell through because he felt I didn't enjoy his sex enough. I hate thinkin of starting a new relationship and letting the man know i can squirt and making him feel disappointed or in adequate because I can't do It during sex. But its also hard to stop myself from squirting unless i just tell a guy i dont like being fingered or ate out. I want to squirt obviously. Its feels amazing, not excited about tryin to stop but also tryin to not disappoint . Is this normal???
