Is it normal that i believe in aliens?

I believe in the existence of life on other planets, whether they're microbial, or sentient like us. I feel as though the universe is just too big to not have other forms of life out there. And besides, if we're here and existing, there's no reason to believe life can't happen elsewhere, because it already happened here.

I'd say it's not normal to believe that aliens DON'T exist out there somewhere.

Well I would disagree. I think if there was, we would have seen some trace of them by now.

They might only be as advanced as we are though. Or even if they were colonising other planets, there are billions of galaxies out there. They could've colonised entire galaxies and not even be remotely close to ours. Or even if they were colonising planets in our galaxy, there isn't really much we'd be able to detect from this far away.

I see what your saying mate. But to me it doesn't make sense for there to be us here on earth, and like one other colony of aliens somewhere 1000000000000000 miles away. To me it makes more sense if it's either one planet with life or a bunch, not just like 2 or 3. But whatever you think is fine, just don't say it's not normal to think aliens don't exist when there isn't a scrap of evidence.

There would still be a bunch of planets with life, even if there were only one civilisation for every 100 galaxies then there'd still be around a billion civilisations in the universe. So given that, that's why I do think it isn't normal not to believe in aliens. Besides even if there were only 2 or 3 in the universe, that's still no reason to not believe in them. Reality doesn't always fit into our neat little classifications, but that's our fault for thinking it should. I realise we have no evidence of them yet but that is understandable in this case, given the unfathomable distances. It'll probably take thousands of years to get the evidence.

How do you know that other planets exist?

Fully normal. They are out there. Maybe there has already been contact between humans and aliens, but it would be kept secret and for a good reason.

A person can be smart. A group of people can be very smart. But masses of people are stupid and panicky animals. If they learn something so radical it will start riots and maybe even a war.

I dream one day humanity will be a part of the high-tech space faring species, cooperating with each other to colonize new planets, advance science and understand our universe better.

What we uncover will be greater and more amazing than anything sci-fi movies and books have ever shown us.

You can believe all you want but you'll never actually know. Space is just too vast for us to ever travel to distant planets besides mars and the moon. We will be extinct before that happens.

How old do they think the universe is? Imagine another race being only 1,000 years ahead of us! It will make us look like fools.
