Is it normal that i am becoming more and more sensitive to human suffering?

I am starting to become really sensitive about subjects that are about human suffering, animal suffering or any kind of suffering in general. I used to have a really dark and deprived humor but I am starting to change, last time, I was watching the film ''Anne Frank's diary'' and I was in the verge of crying, why would anyone do those kind of things to innocent people, and worse, little children. Though, I am confused, I can't understand why I changed so quickly. I am really displeased with humankind and our acts of violence and slaughter in general. I am becoming depressed..

Nooooo, thats good that you have feeling!

Its good that you can feel emotions for other humans. It means you have a conscience.

Obviously its not good then for all this stuff to happen. But you can fight against it! Start a go-fund me page for people. Theres things you can do!

But thats good, some people dont feel anything for other people.

But its just cause they're desensitized, but that doesnt mean people dont care. Most people are decent people whether or not desensitized. But thats good you can feel for other people!

There was a boy on TV who was fighting for africans to have food.

There is tragedy in this world outside the United States, but you can help people if you try.

I was hoping I could do that, I am currently going to a nurse school so I can help people in hospital, I think I am going to work in the pediatric section though.

Same. Human suffering gives me strength. The world is a better place without Anne Frank.
