Is it normal my partner refuses to accept that he snores

My partner snores very loudly, very irregularly, and often wakes himself up if he forgets to breathe in his sleep. I think it's adorable honestly, but he absolutely refuses to accept that he snores.

I'm a heavy sleeper, so it never bothers me, but I can't understand why he won't just own up to it. An exgirlfriend I had would snore and refuse to admit that they do also, which I sorta understand why a chick might be embarrassed, but why deny it???

Everyone I've ever met who snores denies it, which makes no sense. He will own up to his farts but not his snoring. Why?????

Sleep apnea. Got it myself. Treatment involves wearing this mask hooked up to a breathing machine. Very cumbersome and uncomfortable. But for those with acute symptoms it could be life saving. Now that I've stepped out of character for a moment, let me go back to being Ratman.

My ex snored so bad, I wanted to smother him with a pillow. He would say that it's not that bad, so I would record him on my phone once on a while to prove how horrible it was.

Very normal. I have been accused of snoring but remember nothing. If your partner snores try and roll them on their stomach as most snorers snore when on their back.

Sounds as if he has sleep apnea, which is life threatening. Just let him keep doing what he's doing and eventually he won't be in a position to disturb anyone - enjoy your widowhood
