Is it normal i want a tattoo but i'm afraid of getting one because

I'm afraid to get a tat because of

1- What if in the future you need treatment for an illness or they come up with a way to extend your life through IV infusion or something but if you have or had a tattoo you can't receive it because of the ink staying in your lymph nodes?

2- I've heard getting a tattoo increases your risk of cancer or them misdiagnosing you because the ink goes into your lymph nodes making it appear like cancer OR even making them not see the cancer that's actually there until it's too late because they assume it's ink?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

You sound way too uptight/paranoid a person for tattooing.

They sound like good reasons to me. I mean it's unlikely that any of that would happen, but if you're cautious about your health then it's worth thinking about.

It may change your sexual orientation also.

You should be more afraid of getting a tattoo and deeply regretting it. Far more likely to occur than the reasons you gave.
