Is it normal i think some people have given up on trying to find cures?

For example, when I type in Cerebral Palsy, it says that it cannot be cured.

I dont believe this. I think they just say it cant be cured, so that you dont go looking for the cure. Just so they can continue making money off of it.

Or people have been trained by doctors or media to believe that nothing these days can be cured.

When thats a complete lie. And polio may have once thought to be hopeless. But we've developed a polio vaccine.

These diseases and stuff CAN be cured. I think it's just the health industry taking advantage of people.

I think so too all these "incurable" health conditions in the world cancer etc. Think about how much money the organisations make researching and looking for a cure. How many people would be left jobless if this work wasn't needed anymore. Although even if they did release a cure the government would probably just create a new virus.

    • Yea, it's a shame people care more about making money than helping people

    No.

Why develop the polio vaccine if 'they' could 'make more money' if people got polio and had to be treated for it for the rest of their life?

Regarding cerebral palsy, research IS being done with stem cell therapy. It's the only currently known potential cure. It's not incorrect to say there is no cure for CP because that is currently true...and stating that fact doesn't mean there is not efforts to find a cure.

This conspiracy theory is just dumb.

    • Oh I guess it depends on how you look at it.

To say that it can never be cured is incorrect. But to say that it cannot be cured at the moment might be correct.

Why do you expect others to find cures when you don't do so yourself?

What more obligation do others have than yourself? Especially when you are the one passionate about it.

    • Why do I expect people to be caring for other people?

Maybe you missed what I said. To paraphrase, "be the change you want to see in the world"

Just think, since no one is working on it, you have no competition when trying to find cures for these.

Honestly it doesn't matter if they cure all current diseases. There will still be people selling pills that don't do anything.

    • But at least people would be happier

And wouldnt be dying for money-hungry greedy bastards

Saying "there will still be people selling pills" is not a excuse not to help people who desperately need it right now

That's not the point I was making. You are stating they keep diseases from being cured to make money. I am saying they don't really need to do that, because they make money regardless.

It would be better if more people were alive. More people, more customers for other items they sell.

        • They do need to do that. Without people being screwed over, they have no business.

They cant keep giving out crappy drugs that dont do anything.

          You have no point

I have made my point. You refusing to listen to rational argument doesn't mean I didn't make them. Good day.

            • They make money. But I am saying that without curing these diseases they would make WAY LESS money.

              That is what I'm saying.

Either less money, or the demand for doctors would be less because they might not be able to afford them all, because they wouldn't be making as much, with all their little side-temporary, do-nothing treatments they do.

It's the power of greed over morality which gets these people.
