Is it normal i keep thinking about my parents?

Since the passing away of my mother, then about a year after my father's, not a day goes by without my thinking about them and communicating with them. They lived well into their 80's and I am well into my late 60's... !! ?

Although quite normal if you let it consume you it will become a problem for you. Seems like they lived a long life, death is the only constant in life. Might as well celebrate their life than continuously mourn their passing. Time heals all wounds in most cases. Gl to you.

Hard for me to say if this is normal i lost my father 8 years ago, when i was around 14, even a month after his death i hardly thought of him i pushed it all down. But i would think its a good thing to remember the ones you love.

As to the others 'tis better not waste any time on as one must be deranged by overeating zombies while the other whosestoppinghasnomorebrainstothink.

Perhaps now you're waiting to see them once more.

If it brings you comfort, you should do it. I'm sure they would've approved.

I lost both my parents over 15 years ago and I think of them about every day. Sometimes I just have random thoughts and other times I "talk" to them. It's always brief, but nice. They gave me a great childhood and I just wish they could have been around for more of my adult life.

It's amazing how you can communicate with them. So they have phones in the afterlife?

Usually I'm all for snapping in a few mocking wisecracks that offend people in a funny manner.. but this is just shockingly unnecessary, even by my standards.
Replies like this one of yours is what makes a person a bad person in his/her core.

Maybe so, but I believe that this is another form of grief in which people pretend deceased loved ones aren't dead at all; but they are dead, and they've got some moving on to do rather than make little fantasies.
I guess it was harsh for a wisecrack but any communication here is like communication with a teddy bear or something of the sort.

Not to mention it was unoriginal and dry. If someone's gonna be an asshole, least they could do is not be a stupid one.
