Is it normal I don't support my 50 year old brother dating a 19 year old? She just graduated high school last year.. shes a kid and acts like one. I don't support it at all. Is it normal I don't support it?

He's also been married 3 times before. She has only been in one relationship that lasted 6 months in high school a few years ago.

He's a physical therapist she's in her first year of university studying art.

Is it normal I don't support their relationship?

she's either a professional gold digger getting an early start on her career or a victim. I don't see any other believable alternatives

    Is his name Vernon Dozier?

But yeah, obviously normal. Some people may get offended and call you a busy-body but the question is whether it's normal to disapprove of a 50-year-old, especially one with that job and track record, dating someone right out of high school. Of course the answer is yes.

Sometimes, I swear, it's like people are trying too hard to be supportive for no reason. I hope they get married, though, just so I can bring up "the sanctity of marriage" and see what the responses are.

Yeah. 19 year olds are teenagers mentally. That's disgusting, I could never date someone that young.

legally there is no issue, morally it is wrong. they are both at different stages in their lives and the guy holds much more life experience than her because he has lived much longer. the girls brain isn't even fully developed yet, usually when someone reaches 25 is when their brain has finished growing.

there is also a high chance of power imbalances to happen in a relationship like that, overall not good

That’s gross, anyone who thinks 31 years is an appropriate age gap is a weirdo.

anyone who thinks that how long you've been on this planet dictates who you can love is an american sheep.

That is a questionable situation. It's not inherently bad, but it is certainly questionable. A good priest would have to ask a lot of questions before agreeing to perform the rites for that marriage.

Hey celebrities do it all of the time. And a lot of them work out. Being close in age is no guarantee of a compatible or successful relationship. Stay out of their business.

It could work out but chances are that this could end in tears.

Eh who cares? They're both of legal age.

He's just a legal pedophile, and according to the decaying morality in western society that's perfectly normal and very progressive.
