I’m schiz and I pace sometimes, usually just go for a walk though, but I think everyone paces to one extent and reason or another

Funny how they’re the same exact action but one is considered normal and one isn’t.

Is it like you are in the middle of a crowded coffee shop or is it more direct coherent voice(s)

I’ve got it pretty damn well maintained, and I wasn’t a real serious case to begin with, plus I’m just so busy and involved with people I don’t really give my brain a chance to act wacky.
I take antipsychotics and mood stabilizers daily, injection sedatives twice a week, therapy. Sounds scary, it ain’t that bad

Only when I’m already stressed or on edge do I have any audio hallucinations that I actually notice, and when I’m medicated like 9.5 times out of 10 I’m able to tell something is out of place.
Like for example if I’m at a store, the cashier will say, “Have a good day, oh also you left the hose on”, what my medication does is slow down my erratic crazy perception enough so instead of immediately being like “oh shit” I’m able to use common sense to know that this random stranger would have no idea the state of a hose at my house

If I look for hallucinations I’ll probably find them, but usually I’m way too busy or I’m in tune enough to know when something is off

Good to see that's taken care of bud.

God that sounds more annoying as my dyslexia. Where it makes me misread about 1/3 words. Used to make reading all but impossible, but with about 3 years of extensive reading workshops during the time where my brain still had some plasticity to it managed to utilize context to glean what the misread word probably was. If not I can always just look at it for much longer.

Not saying I would trade with you, I can understand reality not being what you know is real in the lightest terms imaginable.

And the fact that we are aware of our predicament is either a blessing or the worst kind of joke. Which you can draw your own lines of religion on where that leaves us. I'm just on the line of "golly gee I hope that christianity exists because I perfer to keep existing" but I know you cant lie to a fucking god so on the line I remain.

Can you elaborate on how it makes you feel weird to sit?

Pacing can feel soothing and therefore is a form of stimming.
