Is it normal for a 20 year old male to feel extremely feminist?

I am a 20 year old male. I am a feminist. I am ready to do anything and everything within my reach for the purpose of ensuring gender equality for women in this world.

Gender discrimination is something that has enraged me since my childhood. My household was very conservative and patriarchal. I remember hating my father for sitting at the head of the table at dinner and ordering my mother to serve him. I have a younger sister. My parents used to burden her with household chores at times. I used to voluntarily go and do half of the work for my sister. I think that was when the seeds of feminism were sown inside me.

Nowadays, I feel hatred for all the fathers in this world. I think that giving birth and babysitting is demeaning to women. I am of the opinion that after giving birth and completing the breastfeeding phase, the father should become a stay-at-home dad and take responsibility of babysitting the baby. After I marry a few years down the line, I am going to take half of the responsibility of babysitting, and ensure that kids don't come in the way of my wife's career. Are these feelings normal? Please post your opinions on this.

"I think giving birth ... is demeaning to women."

Being female is not demeaning to women. Treating them like children that need special care is demeaning to women. You're not looking at women as if they're people anymore, you're looking at them as if they're just one giant group of abused animals that need you to save them.

That's not what feminism is. It's not supposed to just be a hatred for men and an effort to remove them from the workforce. It's supposed to be about equality. Old-fashioned role reversal is not equality.

You just seems like a misogynist guy who doesn't want to work or do shit, and using children and equality bullshit as an excuse for staying home and justifying your pigritude. You are beyond detestable.

You think i'm stupid and don't see what kind of game you are playing? ugh...just ugh...indeed a malignant nature you have.
Anyway, you should care more about your own career, because chances are you wont get a woman who is willing to work for you. Don't think a woman will work just for her career when she knows her utterly odious husband is sitting home in tranquility and using her career as pretext to achieve what he wants.

I think went too far when I said that I will be a stay-at-home dad. I just meant to say that I will partake the burden of babysitting, and make sure that my wife's career isn't affected by the burden of the kids.

And yeah, I won't press the anonymous button if you think that makes me a coward.

And what do you do when a woman enjoys serving a man and raising her children. People like you are brainwashed and I saw it all the time in school.

Turning a woman into a man is not a service and you are basically still forcing your will on your future wife, not that you'll ever find one.

Lol she will work while you stay home? You've already decided for her huh? You are a bigger pig than a real man who treats women with respect and allows their feminine qualities to blossom.

    • I have not "decided" that for her, it depends on her wishes.

And you talk about a woman enjoying staying at home and serving her man and raising her kids? At the expense of her career? At the expense of her individual freedom? That is SEXIST.

The "feminine qualities" you are talking about are a part of universal culture. They are a result of our ancestors who used to think that women are inferior to men. That is why cooking and babysitting are tasks considered "womanly". I don't mean to say that these tasks are easy, I just want to say that these tasks don't provide exposure to the world that other tasks provide.

Honestly, I think you are a SEXIST person who is against liberation of women.

I like how you continue to decide whats best for us. What "tasks" should I do, please tell me what is best for me.

A career and exposure to the world is better for me than raising children and being a wife, is this what you think?

        • Yes, a career will make a woman financially independent. A career gives intellectual stimulation which can't be gained from raising children and being a wife. Giving up a career makes a woman financially dependent on a man. Financial dependence on someone is probably the worst thing to experience. What if your relationship doesn't work out?

Your career is not going to get up one day and say that it doesn't love you any more.

The point I am trying to make is that the woman shouldn't always be the one who has to sacrifice on her career for the kids. Sacrificing on career doesn't always mean sitting at home. I am just disgusted with those men who don't sacrifice on their career at all for their kids and don't understand the seriousness of her sacrifice when their wife does that.

Some people have a mindset that babysitting and sacrificing on career is a woman's role in a relationship. I just wish to eradicate that mindset through my post. I am not against those women who are stay-at-home moms. I am against the mindset that staying at home for kids is a thing which can be done only by a woman. In order to establish my stand, I said that I want to be stay-at-home dad.

Modern feminism isn't about equality (which women already have), it's about misandry and destroying this make believe "patriarchy", perpetuating myths that have been disproven, glorifying women, praising obese women while condemning obese men (both are disgusting), and forcing women into workplaces that don't suit a majority of them.

Men are the ones who need the most help now. We are being silenced by feminists using their made up words like "mansplaining", fathers are discriminated against in custody cases, the court system will often imprison innocent men just because a woman claimed rape, there are almost no men's shelters because women are eons more important important to society (while men are expendable), police are 99% more likely to arrest a male abuse victim than the actual abuser, there are hundreds of homeless men no one cares about, there is a higher suicide rate in men than in women, men are taught not to show emotions by men and women alike, and whenever we try to open up, some shiteating feminist bitch comes along to make fun of us while drinking from her favorite "Male Tears" mug.

Feminism is a hateful movement now and serves no other purpose than to guilt as many people into giving women benefits and taking good things from men. They are professional victims and should be ashamed of themselves.

If you compare the way in which men oppressed women with the way in which women are (according to you) oppressing men nowadays, you won't say this. Even now, women face problems like taboos around menstruation, staring eyes of men, etc. Have some empathy, please be human.

Menstruation is disgusting, natural or not, as it's the vagina expelling uterine lining, blood, and mucus. Most women would agree with me. Also I think my opinion is pretty valid considering I'm a transman and lived half my life as a woman. Periods are gross.

I don't know if you've noticed, but women stare at men just as much. If they see a hot guy, they giggle to each other, stare, and whatever else. It's especially noticeable when celebrities are involved. The only reason people think women have it worse when it comes to this particular issue is because women cry about it on their personal blogs and exaggerate insanely.

I am empathetic. I'm just not going to be willfully ignorant like you and pretend women are treated worse than men, especially considering how society has always thought of men as expendable and women as important treasures that must be protected.

Ever heard the phrase "women and children first" when evacuating or something similar? Yeah, that's because society favors women.

How about YOU start showing empathy toward your fellow men, that are STARVED of empathy? You are a disgusting sexist through and through.

No these feelings are not normal as they stem from stupidity and what you will become won't be just stay-at-home dad. You will become cuck as no self respecting woman finds it pleasurable to sleep with bottom bitch sissy.
And trust me your wife will seek a company of proper real man behind your back.
But good luck enjoying the babysitting while your wife will be out of house enjoying company and sexual pleasures receiving it from a real man who thinks and behaves like such ;)

The quality of work would go down so far if women were the only ones at work! Also the price of eveything would go up because women think they deserve so much money for the smallest of tasks! Whos gonna lift heavy things for them and do all the "gross" work? Although kids would grow up much cooler and there would be far less faggots if they were all raised by men! In conclusion you are a moron and a faggot! Women don't deserve to be equal and I hope we go back to the way things were before this nonsense spirals to far out of control!!!

You are SEXIST. Women don't deserve to be equal??? Dude, just imagine how would you feel if you were born a woman. No one gets to choose their gender. How would you feel if people doubted your capabilities just because you are a woman? Why should women suffer a the hands of the society? This is inhuman.

If I was born a woman I would marry a rich man. Then I wouldn't have to be capable of anything except for spending his money. Men are the ones that are less equal now a days its not that women don't deserve to be equal but they have surpassed us getting everything they want! They are nothing but evil succubi!

Oh really? Do you think marrying a rich man and spending money makes a well-spent life? Such a woman will never be independent, she will always be at the mercy of her man. Imagine being at someone's mercy for your entire life. Where will such a woman find intellectual stimulation?

WHY SHOULD THIS WORLD BE A "MAN'S WORLD"??? We get this precious life only once, why shouldn't women get to live it as fully as men? Why should societal norms come in the way?

Sounds like you've overreacted in opposition to your father. Feminism has (or had?) a purpose equalising wages, voting rights etc, but it's not something to base very action around! Most people get by in relationships without having to question gender roles. It's the 21st century!

I just feel that there should be nothing in this world which discriminates between a man and a woman, no matter how negligible.

I'm not sure what world everyone else is living in, but in my world both parents have jobs. And both parents raise the child. Sometimes grandma has to watch the children or an aunt or uncle. They do the best they can. Because everyone should help in raising children. They are why we go to work and toil at thankless jobs. it's not about careers its about the kids.

So you believe the woman should work while the man stays home? Sounds like your a lazy assholes who doesn't want gender equality but instead to stay home! Next time learn and research we have gender equality! Youre mother more than likely happily served her working husband, raising her children! If men make more than women like you believe why should they work? Youre family understands this more than likely making you do yard work and edecutional purposes being the priority to you! Youre sister more than likely was to do inside work because she makes less! So get of youre lazy motherfucking low reaserched ass out the nursery and out working a job, assholes!
