Is it normal coffee helps relieve period pains?

I sometimes get extremely painful and debilitating menstrual cramps, but usually when I drink coffee, afterwards the pain subsides rather quickly. However, I always read online that coffee will make period pains worse, so it seems contradictory. But for me personally, I find it helps, because after having a nice hot cup of joe, my abdominal pains do get better quicker. Is this normal?

Haven't noticed that myself unfortunately, it's good for my headaches however! Makes sense though because my favorite painkillers have caffiene in them.

I used to have to buy those microwaveable heating pads for an ex. Maybe the warmth helps?

Some of my acetaminophen menstrual pain pills had caffeine in them. I vote normal.
