Is it nomal to smell of fish

To get that fishy smell, you either don't bath often enough, you're using the wrong soap for your vagina, you're wiping incorrectly, or you have an infection.

1. If you do bath regularly, are you using the soap you use to clean your hands and body for your vagina (i.e. Dial, Softsoap, Dove, etc)? If so, then stop. Those soaps are too harsh for your vaginal area, and you need to buy soaps that are meant for your vagina (i.e. Summer's Eve, etc).

2. If you do use the correct soap, then you're most likely not bathing as often as you should, especially if you do activities or live in a humid area that constantly make you sweat (you have to bath more if you sweat a lot).

3. You bath regularly and use the right soap? Then you're probably wiping wrong and getting fecal matter into your vagina, thus disturbing the environment down there. Always wipe front to back (from vagina on back).

4. Lastly, if you're doing everything correctly and still have the smell, go see a doctor.

Oh my goodness. This probably has nothing to do with poor hygiene or soap. There are SEVERAL things that it could be and YES it is normal. However, you should see a OBGYN to be safe.

Some things it could be are:
1: Bacterial Vaginosis
2: Trichimoniosis
3: Yeast Infection
4: Sweat
5: Pelvic Inflamatory
6: Even food you eat!!!

Don't let these other comments scare you. It's very normal and happens to EVERYONE whether they will admit it Le not.

Wash your vagina.

It's hormonal. Washing does not help. It's not an infection. It might be the bacteria type that you have. Finger your good smelling gf and then transfer that juice to your vagina. That might help. I have had Fishy smelling gf before. Only in the United States. Never overseas. I'll still eat that lovely fragrance with tongue
