I don't understand the big TG debate going on in America. Other countries seem to have just accepted it and moved on.
Why are people even thinking that much about someone else's genitals and hormones?
It's such a tiny minority of people who already have difficult lives, just leave them be and let them dress how they want and change their name. It's of no importance to anyone else.

It is of importance because a tiny minority can affect the entire population. A tiny minority can overthrown an entire government, history is full of such examples. Trump is right in removing their rights. Such manifestations of mental illness should not be allowed in public. I can't wait to see one TG who is mentally healthy, not dysfunctional and not screaming at the sky and cursing Drrrrumpf for everything in his life.

Transgender people aren't going to overthrow the government. That's silly. It's been blown way out of proportion. You're talking about a tiny minority of people.
I actually agree with you in principle, people can't change gender, there are only two genders and I don't think there's such thing as being born in the wrong body. There is no other instance where we would tell people that hating something about their body is ok and that cosmetic surgery is the answer. And I draw the line at children being subjected to it - that's abuse. This is an adult issue and children should be protected from it.
However... And this is the crux of it for me... Who cares? Those few people believe all this stuff and they've been through a lot. If changing that letter on their passport from M to F is such a huge deal to them then just let them do it. They are living as that gender anyway by that point. With all the more important issues that we face today I don't think this needs to be such a big deal. It's not as if they let people do it willy nilly, a long process has to be undergone before that can happen. It's not affecting other people anywhere near as much as the media is saying it is.
That's just my two cents though, and I'm quite a passive person when it comes to these sorts of issues. My husband seems to align more with your way of thinking here. You're certainly under no obligation to respect them or recognise their "new" gender if you don't want to. I just choose to do so out of common courtesy because I'm polite and I don't really give a fuck.

Lol we live in a crazy world. My problem is not with individual liberties, it's with the state policies and the implications of such propaganda at a socio-cultural state level. These weaken a state and make it unstable and vulnerable against threats. I am conservative because I understand the catastrophic effects of a country losing its values and culture, not because I have anything with people's choices. On the contrary, I want them protected by the law just in the way we are. When they are abnormal and unusual, just don't push them in public propaganda and don't change the laws in your favour, because that's insane. Personal life is one thing, state politics is another thing.
I can't help but appreciate your honesty and openness to admit changing your perspective when the evidence suggests this.

It's legal for men to do it, it's legal for women to do it so even if you hate on us it's still legal for us, and yes we can birth our own children in theory. There's a promising doctor doing a bunch of research and us heading down a strong path so we shall see. Otgerwise it's the standard sutgecicly implant the fetus and then c section for birth but who wants that. And yes we can lactate. So can men! There's a tribe in africa( I think) that the men do all the breadt feeding not the women

It's never been illegal for men to go bare-chested. Now it's not illegal for women, either. It's also legal to breastfeed anywhere. So no, it's not illegal no matter what gender you identify as.
But breast implants don't produce milk. Only mammary glands do, and males have fewer than women.

Tg women cannot really breast feed. I mean they do not lactate.
However, it probably IS illegal cause Trump is working to remove any sort of TG rights. He has it in for us for some reason.
I do not have any solid facts but whether this question is trolling or not, it is a fact that Trump wants TG rights gone. He wants US gone.

I thought it was weird how he made an issue of TG joining the military. Is there like this flood of TG women who suddenly decided they wanted to join up?
Trump is deeply troubled. He is not LGBT yet is somehow obsessed with TG not having rights. We are a small percent of the population, even if one includes the "passable" along with "visibly trans". We are not a threat.

Alot of us want to join actually. And besides us being trans are completely solid candidates however the armed forces have a very outdated policy on it that states we ate mentally ill so if we want to serve we have to cause ourselves mental damage hiding it. It's bloody stupid

He pretty much did a 180 on LGBT rights after the election, yet pretended he was an ally for the LGBT community, so meh. He's a turd, nothing new.

Men can lactate FYI. Oxytocin triggers lactation in males and females. He just wouldn't be able to produce enough for baby to survive on.
