Is it bad to mod or cheat on a game?

By the way, talking about single player games online. I don't DARE play online with the snobbish elite jerks that are most online gamers.

I cheat and or mod on games. Some say it's a weak tactic and/or I shouldn't be playing video games. But I like playing games and I can't help it that some things are a little harder for me than most people, plus I usually only do it after I've beaten it already or completely stumped.

Is it bad to cheat and mod a game?
A game I've recently cheated on is Story of Seasons 2, I couldn't gather stuff to make a triple bed (you need to go online and trade or spend decades gathering stuff!)

    Hey, online gamers aint all bad.

    But nah, no harm in it. Only bad modding or cheating is when you use them against other players online.

    A big problem however is that if you rely on it then you'll ruin the game for yourself. Large part of playing a game is getting stuck and finding ways to succeed.

    Cheating on games is fun, especially when someone​ thinks they got you (like when I was playing a friend on Pokemon White. I had out my Blastoise and they had out Mewtwo. They used psychic on me but missed because of the Wonder Guard ability.) Plus I do the same thing, I usually don't cheat until I beat it at least once, or completely stumped.

    Nah, cheating in singleplayer may seem to "take away from the experience" but as long as you're enjoying the game that's fine.

    We try not to but we've definitely cheated in ARK on our private server a time or two, I recently remade my iguanadon when I lost her due to a glitch in the geometry that felt like a bullshit death.

    And modding, GODS yes. Mods are fantastic and imo the biggest selling point of PC gaming, my Skyrim, Ark, Fallout and Minecraft are filled with mods. Mods are love, mods are life.

    Damn I once got verbally abused by a LoL user and never returned since. At 40 I'm just not fast enough to follow the pace well.

    Cheating is fine. If your just doing it for fun.

    Haha ignore them, probably just jealous that they don't know how to mod.
    Some mods and cheats just make it more fun.
    If I had never cheated I'd probably still be stuck down that mine in skyrim.
    I promise we're not all snobbish elite jerks by the way ;)

      I have heard of mods that are necessary for playing older games like Fallout 1
