Is intermittent fasting still recommended if you do physical labour?

It seems to be almost universally recommended for better health now. But is it still recommended if you have a job where you work physically for hours each work day? Which I do. Is it a matter of getting your body used to it? Got recommended to not eat before noon, but I already get negative effects from not eating before lunch at work like feeling fatigued (therefore less effective on work), of course being hungry a while before lunch and actually got pain in my shoulders when I recently tried eating only 2 main meals per day (lunch at work and dinner), that pain went away when I did choose to eat breakfast this morning and also had much more energy. But maybe I'm either not doing it correctly, or my body just needs to get used to it. I have had a rash for months, could fasting fix that?

If it doesn't work for you, then do something else.
Any given diet won't work for everyone.

Yes its good eventually your body will get used to it and you wont even want to eat before noon. I did feel abit weaker when I fasted but I was doing a lot of weight lifting and cardio also.

Yes, but you have to figure out the right pattern for yourself. Plus, it takes getting used to.

I intermittently fast too and I work 12 hour shifts at a factory. I wait till after I work to load up on carbs and protein, pop a multivitamin in there to cover my corners because I know my diet is shit vitamin wise.

It would be harder to do so if you did a one or two day fast but my father who works 24 hour shifts at the hospital, seems to function alright... that or the lunch lady sneaks him snacks.
