It's from childhood wounds but I tend to withhold my emotions/fears/concerns
It's normal but not necessarily the healthiest option. If you can find even one or two people you feel safe and comfortable sharing these things with, it might make a big difference for you
I just expressed to someone who caused psychological trauma to me as a child, how her actions affected my life. And, boy, it made all my pain go away. It felt good to get my feelings out.
I wouldn't advise you to good your feelings in, just let them out in a respectable manner. It may make you feel better.
I can't keep my feelings in but even so people berate me for them
