Is it normal to spend time with friends you don't really like?

I do it because we're supposedly friends but I don't really like spending much time with her. I mean, it's OK but I never come home feeling like it was completely worth it. I do it because we are supposed to hang with our friends and technically we are. I can't end the friendship so it's not an option, and there is zero reason to. Does anyone else deal with this kind of friendship? I feel sad that I don't enjoy it so much.... it's weird.

Yeah it's normal. A lot of people are afraid of lonliness or so much people pleasers they can't end friendships they don't want.

Not normal to spend time with people you don't like, but normal to be hesitant to end a friendship because you don't want to hurt someone's feelings. Maybe just tell her you don't really click anymore?

I voted not normal because I'm pretty sure it's not but I do this. I have lost interest in talking to a lot of people I used to be close with, but I hang out anyway to keep them happy and because I have nothing else to do. It sucks because my depression makes it very hard to socialize, but also makes me not want to be alone with my thoughts. So I just kinda end up hanging out with whoever and doing whatever, just because, well, what else am I going to do with my life? At least they keep me moving and existing

It's not normal, what you can do is sit literally on a fence eating cheese and gherkin sandwiches, just make sure the fence is short and has a lid on it. If not try spending time with better friends and dare to warn your brother that there are people better than your friends, tell him it's the truth because before doing anything make sure somebody doesn't kill you.

UFOs aren't real, so there you go.

UFOs are absolutely real. Whether or not they're controlled by extraterrestrials is the question. They're called UAP now: unidentified aerial phenomena. So unless you believe it's impossible for an aerial phenomenon to go unidentified, you believe in them. It says nothing about what they actually are.

Anyway, UFOs are literally listed in your interests so I figured I would ask.

Yes, some of that is true, I watch UFOs on tubi, that's not an indication that I believe in them. UFOs contradict reason and logic, besides that it's not what I see, it's not present for me, it's not my consciousness or imagination therefore UFOs aren't real. I'm a normal person, not a quirky person, I don't believe weird things. Therefore you're wrong, anything of spirit might be wrong, there's probably no God, no Devil, no aliens, no heaven, no hell, why is everyone probably wrong? In my Puritanism I might be wrong.

If you see a phenomenon in the sky that you can't identify, it's still a UAP until identified even if it's really a weather balloon. UFO/UAP doesn't mean spacecraft. It means unidentified.

You're right that anything of spirit might be wrong, and it almost certainly is. You're right that there's probably no God, Devil, Heaven, or Hell. But those are mystical concepts with no scientific backing. Extraterrestrial life almost certainly exists and the concept thereof does have scientific backing. It's a huge difference.

That said they're probably not visiting and UAP can be explained by other means.
