Is it normal to see static dots everywhere

Ever since I was 4 I've been seeing static in my vision. Its not like static on television, my static is colorful. Red, blue, purple, white. The little dots move in patterns everywhere, like spiraling, or in a circle or in a wavy motion. I used to be able to control them and change their shape, or make them look like fireworks. Just recenlt I told my family about it and they said it never haooens to them. What's going on? Do I have bad eyes? I have 20/10 vision.

It is visual snow; I have it, too. It has something to do with the fluid in your eyes. I don't know the exact causes, but it can worsen as you age or stay the same. There's not enough research for it as far as I know.

It has to do with retina burns most likely. Do you stare at bright lights (say, the sun.) often? Other than that, I got nothing. This is certainly unusual if it's not retina burns.
