Is it normal to not wanna be outisde in the summer

Its too hot outside nowadays. Its hot inside also but at least I can sit still with a fan. Its not enjoyable anymore. I also dont like wearing revealing clothes.
I am looking forward to autumn.

    • I dont like the winter either I dont like too hot or too cold autumn and spring is perfect for me. But winter is still better because you can dress warm + not every winter day has extreme cold.

I fucking hate it. I hide from the sun. I need shade if I’m gonna be outside. Like I’ll literally get burn and be in pain for days on end. Fuck the sun.

If theres anything good in working labor outside for a decade is it makes you immune to the heat. My wife complains about it constantly I wont hardly even notice it.

I love the summer. When I was a kid, my parents couldn't afford heating, so we'd be taking cold showers and sleeping with multiple blankets in the winter. The summer months brought so much relief. XD

No lies. It is miserable to be outside when you're not in the water this time of year.

I was always the same. I despised summer and always loved autumn.

Until i moved to a house without air conditioning, near the beach. After 1 summer, I acclimated completely. I still love autumn, but I appreciate summer so much now. I absolutely love summer. I've been missing out my whole life!

Where is this magical place Countess? It is hot as shit right by the ocean in Florida and most of the Caribbean.

Honestly. I'm in Florida. I'm a two minute drive from the ocean, indoors, 10pm, with the ac, a ceiling fan, and a regular fan and I can still feel the humidity mocking me. So rude.

Southern coast of australia! (South is cold and north is warm there. Everything's upside down! Though it does get very hot in summer).

I think what did it for me was the lack of air con. Most people in australia go without, but we have rain water catchment evaporative cooling...so kinda like a swamp cooler. It's cool enough to keep it comfortable, but not cold, so instead of going from frigid air conditioning to disgusting weather, you get acclimated to the warm weather it makes summer so much more enjoyable.

Plus aussie people do summer right! Lots is cooking outside & beach time. It's lovely.
