Is it normal to not go to the church every sunday

For the Christian or Catholics, do you go to the church every Sunday?. I believe in god and rely on him but I don't go to the church every Sunday.

Perfectly normal. I don't go myself as I am not religious (although I believe in a Higher Power).

Every Christian has there’s earthly battles 24/7. I don’t identify with either of those I just say that I have a relationship with the lord because people will say they are a Christian, but they aren’t and set this terrible look for people who believe in god. I love the lord, he is my lord and savior but I will say that, no I don’t go to church every Sunday either. He made us to make our own decisions and if you truly feel bad about it then all you have to do is apologize and he will forget all about it, that’s why he is amazing. The advise I would give you is to make sure you are praying and speaking to him as much as you can, and at least reading your bible every once in a while, nothing wrong with learning more about our father.

If you are Catholic, you are obligated to go to Church every Sunday and every Holy Day of Obligation, so long as you are able.

I used to go every Sunday and really enjoyed it. Then things kinda went to shit in my life and the pandemic started. I'd like to go back though some day.

I don't have a belief in religion or such things, but if it is important to you then i suggest simply that you go as often as you can.

Life has changed dramatically since these type of mandates were put in place, so adapt with the times.

You can believe, pray and give thanks wherever you are and at any time you choose, do this on the occasions you can't get to church and I'm sure all will be well with whichever God you follow.

Honor the Sabbath is in the bible. The Sabbath is Saturday, and no one has every accused the Jews of losing track of which day of the week is Saturday over the last several thousand years.

The direct predecessor to the Roman Catholic Church changed worship for Catholics to Sunday; and later sent armies around Europe and the Middle East to kill any "Christian" who did not convert to Sunday worship; and many thousands were slaughtered as a result.

Note that the Roman Catholic Church acknowledges that the Sabbath is Saturday; but, claims that the Pope is the appointed representative of God on earth with power to change any of the rules in the bible - including rules in the 10 commandments (which is where "honor the Sabbath" as the day of rest and worship is located).

Yes I go every Sunday. I look down on people who don't because it's considered a mortal sin to not do so. You can't get into heaven by ignoring it. If a person can get into heaven and not go to church than I am putting all this effort in for nothing. I want to make it to heaven with this least effort and least amount of suffering possible!!!
