Is it normal to listen to music from languages you don’t understand?

I often find myself listening to music from all over the place, of varying genres as well. Despite the fact I do not speak or understand many of languages being spoken, I still enjoy how it sounds and have even attempted to sing along on rare occasion. I’ve never seen anyone else who does this. Do most people just stick to a singular genre? Or is it that most Americans don’t usually concern themselves with other languages anyways?

Yes. I listen to the Swedish vocalists Tomas Ledin, Tommy Nilsson and Niklas Stromstedt and the Vietnamese vocalist Khanh Linh.

I do that too with Japanese songs. I don't understand it though it's pretty cool to listen to.
