Is it normal to intentionally force maximum pain?

So anytime I break/hurt something, I always bend or force it as much as I can to see the maximum pain I can feel for an injury I get. I don't do it after, but I just want to see how much something can hurt I guess.

After I broke my wrist (I didn't know I had broken it at the time), I bent it as much as I possibly could just to see what the maximum pain was. I do it with everything now.

  • Pfff, these people who post freaky shit and ask if it's normal knowing full well that it isn't. Come on, who breaks a body part and then contorts it as far as humanly possible just to see how much it'll hurt? You're a couple puppies short of a full kennel, my friend.

No, I'm sorry, but I don't think that's normal at all. I'm so glad I've never broken anything, but I do think I fractured one of my pinky toes. I was so skittish about the pain, and figured there probably wasn't much that could be done for my little toe so I never actually sought any medical attention for it. Eventually the pain just went away.

I have also sprained my left ankle twice, so now I can tell when there's going to be a bad storm thanks to my bad ankle.

I honestly think you shouldn't do that stuff when you injure yourself, because you don't want to make any worse than it already is.
