Is it normal to hope the universe is guiding you through life?

I'm new to the whole law of attraction thing, so I'd appreciate people's feedback on it and if ye think it actually works. If ye had any examples of it working that would be really interesting too!

    well, in the law of attraction you cant just hope for things, you need to prepare for them...
