Is it normal to have bloodshot eyes after dancing

i just came home from homecoming and my eyes are bloodshot. i didn’t smoke or cry or anything. maybe it’s my eye makeup? but it was just the mascara that i usually wear. is this normal? we were just in the school gym dancing to loud music in the dark.

    Did you rub your eyes? The polish they use on those floors can be pretty nasty.
