Is it normal to have a bookshelf above your bed that could collapse any time?

I have this bookshelf screwed to the wall (probably not even to the studs cause they're all in drywall anchors) and some already popped out. The two shelves are loaded with books, glass bottles and all kinds of junk plus a fish tank. I know it's gonna collapse on me while I'm sleeping but I'm just too lazy to care or do anything about it. I have limited shelf space in my place, is this normal?

For the sake of the fish in the tank you need to stabilise this or find the tank a new home. With pets comes responsibility.

Come on man, you don't want it collapsing and have fish jumping around frantically in your bed. Put the tank somewhere else.
And just screw the shelf in right

    At least move the tank.

You can either rearrange it now when everything is still at least somewhat organized or you can wait until all the crap collapses onto your bed and THEN deal with it. In this case, the lazier option is to do something about it

If you live in an earthquake prone area it's pretty stupid.

I would not be okay with this at all. That would be an EXTREMELY unpleasant thing to wake up to. Plus, as Skulls said, the fish deserve to be properly taken care of and not be put at this kind of risk.

Honestly, laziness to this degree always ends up making your life a lot harder than it needs to be. Just fix the shelf or move everything to a better spot. You will feel much better once it is done and over with, rather than waiting for everything to collapse on you.

No, this isn't normal. Unless you want it to be. Just rearrange everything and you should be fine.
