Is it normal to get latin/japanesey songs in my head/am i a siren?

When the words of this other language come to me I feel obligated to sing it. Especially when I'm wearing my opal mermaid ring with really old writing on it. However as a nerd I made myself write it when it comes and study it. It sounds like a blend of latin, japanese, and sometimes nordic or greek in influence. Maybe sirens traveled the seas and picked up on what they heard around the world. Maybe in a past life I was a siren or a mermaid, or perhaps my ring gives me mermaid knowledge.
