What happened between when you were more in touch with your emotions, and now?

    • I used to always be overemotional and i hated it, so i tried to become less emotional, and then corona hit and my classes (im in a college) were harder and i had a bit of difficulty with my parents aaaand yeah all that fun stuff

Yes it's normal to feel nothing, I can't feel nothing, whenever someone's angry I can feel it in my gut, a painful feeling, sometimes in my heart, I get a bad feeling before someone's angry with me, I try not to feel and the feelings are there, I envy you, if only someone's anger went peachy, people project it onto me, I'm not friends with anyone who's angry.
My feelings come magically meaning trouble, I don't know why anger from others gives me a feeling, I get scared, besides I don't trust my feelings, I only trust rationalising into having fun and good times. My feelings might not be true, it was false just once, cracking a mirror's seven years bad luck, therefore I'm down on my luck.

I suggest you to seek professional help, and unfortunately, you should get used to feel like that. For me, symptoms of emotional-numbness started when i was 12yo, now i'm 29 and barely have any sort of emotions, i feel like i'm just a robot doing repetitive tasks day after day.

    • Oh, im so sorry about that-- that sucks. But thank you, the warning is helpful. I hope one day, someday you start to feel less like a robot if that makes sense :)

Eat a healthy balanced diet and get plenty of exercise. Keep a journal so you can potentially identify the triggers. And talking to someone can potentially help as well. Good luck.

I'm genuinely sorry to hear that. You should probably speak to a therapist or a psychologist. I don't even mean that as an insult, any insight you seek here you probably won't find. It sounds like depression but I'm not a professional in this matter.

Sharpen a pencil and then with a swift motion, drive it down into your leg. I guarantee you will feel something

    • Ok but serious, lets not promote self harm here.

Yes and besides the pencil could be more useful external from the leg
