Is it normal to feel nostalgic for an era you didn't live in

Everytime I see a car from the 1960s and 1970s on the road, like a Ford Mustang for an example, or any muscle car really, I instantly feel an extreme sense of nostalgia despite the fact that I was born in 1999, long after the days of great muscle cars.

    Yes, I've felt that way about the 1930s, I've watched a lot of 1930s films and listened to the music of the time, and I've felt nostalgia for the 1930s, and the roaring 1920s too for the same reasons, even though I was born in the 1970s.

    That's how I feel when I see the Taj mahal or the Kutub Minar or the Stonehenge or the Pyramids. We might be very similar people! It's not that you're filled with nostalgia I belive, but a sense of awe, because you're someone who drives inspiration from the past and think that it was a golden period.
