Is it normal to feel annoyed when friends don’t acknowledge your achievements

I don’t mean in a narcissistic way like i need approval it just annoys me when they don’t say anything, but try to act like they really care about you. If you have critiques of my work, hell even that would be better than just totally ignoring it. It makes me feel like they’re jealous and trying to downplay something I’m proud of. IIN? If they were proud of something I at least acknowledge it and try to ask some questions, it’s just common courtesy.

In a similar vein I’ve also seen, grown adults mind you, come over while others are commenting on my work, to say something like “oh yeah I’ve done that too!”...it just sounds like they are trying to snipe attention and I find it weird as hell
