Is it normal to fear sharks when swimming in the deep or in the dark ?

I'm swimming in the Aegean sea and can't help but think about sharks
when I can't see anything because it's too deep or too dark, is this
normal ?

    I googled it and it says there’s only harmless sharks there so you should be fine
