Is it normal to be so tired everyday

I can only manage to lie in my bed and not do anything that requires focus or thinking. I work short days then I go home and lie down. I am tired all the time no matter how much I sleep. I happen to be autistic but I never used to have this little energy. I am just never happy and when I am it doesnt take much to ruin it. I get headaches all the time and tension in my body.
Theres things I want to do or even need to do but I cannot. Moving feels heavy and my mind feels foggy. Is this normal ?

i doubt this is related to your autism, sounds a lot more like fatigue or depression. probably worth a visit to the doctor

        • For many yes because of too much sensory input which is reason many cant work much and ive only known autistic people which also had ADHD who didnt experience it

Bit late, but I've experienced these symptoms myself, as well as a relative of mine. Both were caused by different things: mine were because of a vitamin D deficiency, while my relative was suffering from severe anemia. Either way, you should get blood work done, it could be due to a multitude of things.

Don't let anyone tell you "it's just depression, see a therapist" without getting any blood tests. Because yes, it could be depression, but you know what can cause depression? A vitamin D deficiency! Get to the root of the problem instead of just putting a band-aid over it.
