Is it normal to be scared when people want to speak to you?

Couldn't write a better title, but whenever I'm told to come, or someone at work asks me to have a meeting with them, I instantly feel like I did something wrong and that I'm about to be judged, or punished for it.

Two examples I can give:

1. Whenever my mom or dad tell me "[name] come here!", I instantly feel like I did something wrong and they're about to criticize me for it. It's almost always nothing bad though.

2. I had a coworker who is basically my manager's right hand ask me for a short 5-minute call. I instantly assumed he wanted to talk to me about something wrong I did or something I said, but it was just to ask me if I feel comfortable so far with the job.

idk why I always feel like this, but I just always expect the worst and so I get a feeling of impending doom whenever someone wants to speak to me.

Thats the one that gives me the most anxiety. The worst was when the police would call me when I was younger and leave voice mails.

I think the way you parents raised you has a lot to do with it. A child who is constantly ridiculed will naturally expect any interaction to be criticism.
