Is it normal to be at a normal weight, but still look overweight?

I am at an ideal weight, yet I can sometimes see my ribcage, and have a rather large gut. I'm about 5' 8" at 150 lbs, and am male, and also recently went on a diet, if you needed that info.

It happens. I don't even notice anymore. Someone has far too much time and too many accounts on their hands.

Do people tell you that you look overweight or is it your perception?

Isn't a person who's the proper weight but has extra chub called "skinny-fat"? I once read somewhere that a majority of slim people are like this.

  • Definitely nothing healthy. Frozen foods mostly. I do eat healthier foods for snacks.

I am a size zero, barely eat any food and still feel fat.

Calling yourself humpty dumpty probably doesn't help your self image.

Maybe you don't have enough muscle?

    • That would probably be part of the problem. I kinda stopped working out after a while.
