I went to the library and they were currently selling books again to make room for new ones. I found one that I wanted so I walked up to pay for it before leaving. The librarian was like "ah, you found a book! :)" and I was like "yep! :)" then she was like "you DO know that you could buy a bag too? and then fill the ENTIRE bag with books?" and I was like "ehm okay?" and she was like "but you only want THIS one?" and I was like "yes just this one please". She then proceeded to give me a look as if I had just murdered her entire family before she took my money and let me leave. It was almost scary. Like what the hell woman?
And how would I even be able to carry an entire bag PACKED with books all the way home to my apartment?! Thats like crazy

    That is odd, you would think she would appreciate you supporting her place of work. Maybe her manager is hounding her to “sell off as many books as possible”.

    Good on you for supporting your library though.

      Probably that part. Depends on how funded the library is.

      But fun fact there are more public libraries in america than mcdonalds.

          Thata That's not even including private libraries.

          I'm hoping to have a lil library in my own castle. In a tower nook. Not a wizard tower, more like a turret that's apart the main structure.

              No but all the mundane additions to a house become whimsical when its applied to a castle.

              Got a ditch? It becomes a moat. Got a basement? Got a dungeon!

              Plus my idea for a castle is more akin to a manor house with tall ass walls.
