Is it normal that toothpaste burns my tongue?

I use Colgate Enamel Health with sensitivity relief because my teeth aren't that great. I also have Colgate PreviDent 5000 Plus (from my dentist). But I find it harder than most to brush my teeth because I have ADHD, routines are boring also toothpaste burns my tongue.

I should add that minty stuff besides toothpaste don't hurt my tongue. And it's only my tongue, not gums, mouth or teeth.

Sometimes certain people are more sensitive with their tastebuds. If it's the toothpaste itself then maybe it's too acidic? Have you tried any toothpaste substites?
