Over the weekend my girlfriend tried to give me a handjob but I couldn't cum. I told her it wasn't her fault and that I just couldn't get off that way. I even tried to get myself like 95% of the way there and then have her finish, but nope, started to go soft again. After I finished myself she got up and ran out of my place and hasn't spoken to me since then.

Is this normal?

    She probably thinks you don't get turned on by her.
    Which might affect her self esteem badly, thinking shes not sexy enough and tings.

    I mean, it seems like she may have overreacted a bit, but she was probably pretty embarrassed. She is most likely blaming herself, I would tell her again that it's not her fault and that you still enjoyed hooking up. And maybe next time show her what you would like her to do. Good luck!

    Oh, she's young! When you are younger, having sex for the first time or the first few times, it's common to be incredibly insecure about your body and your performance. I legit broke into tears about something my boyfriend said about sex when I was 18...now, looking back on it, I realize it was a ridiculous response. I wouldn't be TOO worried. She'll get over it...just, lots of sweet talk and compliments.

    Well, I think I'm done. I don't have patience for this bullshit anymore and up until now I definitely showed more than enough of it. Should have ended this months ago when I realized she was a mental case. Nothing good is going to come from investing more time here.

    Mmm, I've had that happen as a teenager with my girlfriend at the time. We were both drunk & it was just never going to happen.
    Nothing she was doing wrong.
    On the contrary she was trying hard & for a long time...
    I actually felt fucking terrible about it!

    & as with your girlfriend she took it to heart when she realised things weren't going to end like she expected.
    Luckily she didn't take it quite as personally as your girl so I was able to make it up to her & "let" her make it up to me the next day.

    You just need to reassure her that it's nothing she's doing wrong, it happens. Shit, if I'm stressed or something sometimes I can't even make it happen myself & I've got A LOT of practice!

    I must admit I'd feel a bit deflated if I couldn't get a girl off so I'd say it is normal.

    For obvious reasons, it is very common for men to have more specific hand-job tastes and she'll feel a lot better knowing this. She may need some time to be in denial and try to prove she can do it better than you can give yourself, but in time she'll settle for something you probably like better than handjobs anyway...blowjobs.
