I kinda miss how uberly patriotic America was the 2 years after 9/11. I wish America could become that patriotic again and stop being so self-loathing like it is right now.
It was partially because of the media. Every news outlet was repetitively reporting that we are more united than ever and showed Americans of all races hugging and waiving American flags. And then everyone agreed to the Iraq war because we were patriotic and standing together like the media said. If you came out and said you thought Iraq war was stupid you would be shamed by the hypnotized masses that you were not patriotic. Its a similar game they play today just the opposite.
They dont even hide what they do now John Brennan the former CIA director is the "intelligence analyst" for NBC. The media is used by the feds to control the masses to do what they want. Thats why they are controlling social media anymore they want to be the ones that give out the information so they can use it as propaganda
But why would they possibly want Americans to be unpatriotic and hate themselves? I don't see the logic.
Its easy to control people when they have an invisible enemy. This is because they have a huge group of the population convinced the government is the saviors of the oppressed. And the ones that dont bend over for the government and agree to authoritianism dont because they're oppressors. Its called divide and conquer.
It is normal. The media was pro-America after 9/11, but now the media is pro-Marxism and hates the country. A large percentage of the population unfortunately bases its opinion on what the media projects and right now it is very anti-America
Well, you can see what “patriotism” leads to. There’s a reason it only lasted two years. The people in charge used that to take away rights from Americans and the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in other countries because they thought their country was so much better than anyone else and could do anything they wanted. We certainly don’t want that to ever happen again.
I think what you really miss is the comradery and sense of community you felt, presumably because you aren’t Muslim. And that’s probably never coming back. If you can’t get everybody to agree to common sense gun control laws to save elementary school students, and you can’t get everybody to put a piece of cloth over their face to slow down a deadly pandemic, you’re probably not going to get them to do anything to help out their fellow Americans.
