Is it normal that i've lost my taste for head-shots?

I dunno what's wrong with me! I always were one for head-shots but recently I just don't feel like it anymore. I know it's a pro thing to do but don't body-shots cause more pain? Or heart-shots? And also does anyone know why the fuck don't cowboys do head-shots? They just go for the neck, or body. It's weird.
And it also depends on the game's hud too, if my aim's a cross or an X mark, I just don't bother.
If it's a dot, like "Red Dead" Or "GTA V" I may go for it.
What do u think? Am I sounding like a fucking n00b? Has this ever happened to ya?

        I might care what I do. I might even care what a skilled player does if it is based on strategy to improve my play. But would I care that a random stranger just doesn't feel like shooting for the head anymore for no particular reason? Nope.

            Lol well if it's you then sure I care! I'm just joking anyway, obviously I was just being funny with the original comment. Just seemed like a good spot to use that one. And I am a gamer, just a very old school one. Mostly I stick to my NES.

    I play a lot of first person shooters and I tend to start at the body and work my way up. If I fluke a head shot then yay. Either way I'm getting maximum damage from the rifle with or without recoil.

      But, consider a game like Max Pain 3. Head shots are kinda cooler... u know? Considering the whole "bullet time" thing.

    The body is a bigger target. Just about everyone is trained to aim there. Also, what Vinny said.
