Is it normal that i stopped growing at 12?

I stopped growing at 12. I’m extremely short (4’11) and I feel like I’m still stuck living in the body of a 12 year old. I got my period at 10 and started puberty around a year earlier than the other girls in my class so I wasn’t short for a year until they caught up. But now I haven’t grown since. I’m still a teenager but I’ve read that girls stop growing 1-2 years after they get their period so am I going to be this ridiculous height forever?

As a guy I can tell you that you have the sexiest height!! Petite girls are super sexy and you shouldn't feel bad about that!!

People who end up being very short usually reach their full height young. Though there are still possible growth spurts in the mid-late teen years, so it's possible you'll get taller.

I think that’s normal. I got my first period at 11, and I stopped growing around 12/13 but I’m 5’10”. I think that’s a normal time frame for some girls to stop growing. Height is partially genetic, so I wouldn’t doubt that you’re the only one in your family who is on the short side.

I’m 23 now and I’m still the same height as I was at 13. No worries, you’re normal!
