Is it normal that i still can't pee?

I went to the hospital with a pretty bad infection in my groin. It actually became life-threatening, apart from the fact that I couldn't pee.

I had to be treated surgically and was given painkillers and strong antibiotic infusions.

I'm getting better, but I still can't go to the toilet normally. That's why they haven't removed the abdominal catheter yet.

I think it's weird. The sepsis and the other findings were treated and I am still taking the strong medication. Shouldn't the swelling have gone down a bit then?

    • I went to the hospital on the second of January thinking that I wouldn't get out of there. I was finally able to be discharged, but I definitely need to be checked regularly. That's what they told me. Can't say I feel fine already but better than on the 2th of this month.

      • I have a tube up my cock and I can't get it up. I am just pathetic. It sounds as if you are becoming pathetic too.

  • Omg that's terrible. Maybe they haven't been able to treat you because of COVID cases. But anyway you should call them an ask. Hope you get better soon.
