I retired last year and my wife drives me nuts with her talking on the phone. She yaks with her sister for an hour at a time about stupid shit so loud that I can hear her all over the house. I don't know why she uses the phone she could just yell out the window.
Do you like music, and have any headphones/earbuds? When I lived with others and didn't like their noise, that was my solution.
I agree with the others that if it's possible, a man cave sounds like a nice solution.
Woman tend to have very long conversations with their freinds... and usually about not much... its just how they are usually wired. A hour + phone conversation refreshes them.

Yeah but she's got both of them filled up with junk that we'll never use.
Is she open to letting go of any of it? Maybe you could have a garage sale or something. Even as a pack rat myself, sometimes spring cleaning (even if it isn't spring) is necessary and lifts a huge burden off of you, as well as freeing up space. I need to bite the bullet and do some around my own home as well, so I can finally get some of my garage space back.
