Is it normal that i figure skate?

I've been a figure skater since I was 4, and it is basically the only sport I truly enjoy. Now, I just moved to a new school, and everyone there thinks I'm the strangest person ever because I do this. I've been excluded from lunch tables and picked on in the hallways because I'm a skater. On the contrary, the people at my old school had absolutely no problem with it- in fact, they thought it was pretty cool.

Should I be afraid of this weird anti-figure skater cult at my school, or am I just being bullied like a normal teen/overreacting?

    Haha haterofpants. So true. Figure skating is very cool and you shouldn’t allow stupid kids to bully you because they have nothing better to do. One day you’ll be out of school and they will too and will just look back and think is it worth it to care what these stupid kids say about me.

    Both, "Psh chill out. Everyone gets bullied for weird stuff.", and, "Skating is completely normal- there is a cult at your school, leave.".

    A lot of humans are stupid, especially the younger ones. Those bullies don't pay your bills, and I doubt they could give any useful advice.

    It's likely difficult when you're being harassed, but don't bother paying those useless dumbfucks any mind.

    They're just jealous. Figure skating requires skill and commitment and you must be in great shape. That's all I can think of. They're jealous of you. Good luck with your skating!
