Is it normal that i dream about taking over the world?

My dream starts of with where I'm in a spaceship and I have sidekicks and talking about how I want take over the whole world so people can do my evil bidding, I eventually stop the protagonists from foiling my evil plans. After that I went conquering the whole universe. I was talking and said " You must obey your leader and must not talk unless I the ruler of the world says so! ". So I imprisoned the protagonists in an unbreakable prison cell which is made of plasma.

    Rule 1 of world domination - KILL the protagonists. Don't imprison them, or slowly lower them in a vat of acid (while cackling menacingly), or any other stupid shit. Kill them and have the bodies/ remains thrown in the incinerator!

    Rule 2 - don't reveal your identity. Rule from the sidelines and stay out of the spotlight.

    Rule 3 - don't do the "Speak only when spoken to" bullshit, nobody likes an asshole leader.

    Rule 4 - keep the people sufficiently happy. A world of slaves that hate/ fear you is no good. It never ends well.

    Rule 5 - Don't put self destruct buttons on everything. If you have to scuttle a ship, take notes from the self destruct sequence of the Nostromo in Aliens.

    Also the only reason anyone should go for world domination is to start a new space race, nuke the military budgets of all countries, in fact... don't even have countries, merge everything into one superstate and pour your resources into science, research and development!

    If it's for attention, become a youtuber, or instagram star. You'll have loads of idiots doing your "bidding"...

      But the protagonists can't escape because there is no door so they are left to suffer.

        Always kill the protagonists... That way no love interests and furry sidekicks will come to the rescue. And always send a team of assassins to wipe out any helpers. In their weakened state, they are easier targets.

          Yes and I did have another dream where I had obliterated the protagonists and the whole city went on fire while the protagonists went dying in front of me.

    I once had a dream that I was dressed as an Indian princess, and riding down the street on a beautiful elephant while people threw flowers at the great beast's feet. My enemies were all dirty, disheveled and in cages; they were forced to watch my procession go past. It was a glorious dream!
