Explosions are awesome especially when ur a kid

Long ago, as a twelve year old kid, I loved manufacturing my own explosives. Without permission, I read my Dad's chemical engineering college textbooks to learn how explosive factories are designed. Of course, this knowledge enabled me to make my own explosives, which I did in a safety conscious manner. I had great fun detonating them in pits that I dug to prevent collateral damage from the blast. Soon, I was designing delayed detonators, and thinking about paramilitary technology.

When you are a gifted sixth grade student, like I was, you must think-outside-the-box to keep life interesting. Paramilitary technology lead me to start reading sniper manuals a year later. In retrospect, I became a missile expert largely due to my success as a child prodigy bomb and explosives hobbyist.

Sounds fun and cool, but I'm lowkey pissed off by this, I'll admit. Why? Because you could hurt someone else or an animal if you blow that shit up.

Man I have an obsession with cannons like civil war era cannons. During the fourth of July we would just use 1/4 black powder blanks and it would shake every house for a half mile.

Fun fact! In the United States its completely legal to own a cannon. You just cant make explosive shells... damn feds.
