I don't always comment here but when I do I notice about twice a week I will comment on a post where I will call somebody out and within about 5 minutes they will delete their post, so I think they delete the post in shame because I called them out. Why do people post things if they cannot handle peoples opinions?

Without knowing what you've commented, I have noticed some people are just completely rude when someone has a legitimate problem. While I understand that at times there are troll posts and ridiculous posts, sometimes people here are rude even just when someone is being honest. The OPs in those scenarios are probably just thinking it isn't worth the trouble at that point.
some people get butthurt when a comment is too true and report it to the mods so that may play a role
I wouldn't take it personally. If it's a troll or idiot who can't handle it, fuck em.
If it's a genuine person, then that's their choice.
I just wanna say for the record that I enjoy your comments, I think a person would be a bunghole for erasing em.
Deleting a post is a feature on this site, so it's going to get used. honestly I would find it hilarious if that's the reason people delete their posts and it has happened to me a couple times, but that seems a little arrogant to assume, lol. I delete some of my posts that are kinda personal to me but only after everyone's pretty much done commenting.
I've deleted posts once I am done with them and have the answers I wanted, but never because someone offended me. More because I like to keep a small trace of myself online, so I often delete anything I am not currently using including accounts on sites I am done with.
However what I am pointing out is when I call somebody out on something and 2 minutes later they delete the post.
oh yeah ive had that happen before too, i actually feel kinda bad for them sometimes like they couldnt handle what was said. but in the end its a feature of the site so no point being bothered by it being used, i would feel that maybe i actually convinced someone to rethink their pov.
I agree with charlim, too many trolls and fuckwits (often the same person) on this site.
I have done 2 posts myself while on this site, one didn't get any comments so I deleted it, the other got around 30 responses. I really didn't care that much about either one.
I like being (brutally) honest at times and the aforesaid trolls and fuckwits take exception to them so I get thumbed down a lot.
Meh, once again, couldn't give a shit.
I happen to find both your posts and comments to be pretty good so I am not one of the haters.
