Iin, or just plain stupid, to value good only after you screw up?

Is it normal to learn the hard way? Or is it just stupid people who have to go through suffering and a lot of bullshit until they learn. Is it normal to have to learn firsthand even though you know you should stay away? Does this happen only to impulsive or emotional or sensual people only?

LOL it's normal and it's not atypical for intelligent people either.

Stupid people do stupid things and DON'T learn from the results.

If you're doing the same stupid thing over and over and over again and you're sitting there wondering why your life sucks then I must regret to inform you that you are stupid.

Sometimes you have to learn the hard way. And as long as you can learn through other methods, you're fine. And don't forget to laugh at yourself when you realize how unnecessarily difficult you made things for yourself. This is very important.

It's the latter: impulsive, emotional artistic suffer the most and make the most life mistakes, and usually don't wise up until it's too late. Smarts have nothing to do with it; common sense and reflection before acting do.

It is dumb. Some people never learn unless this happens though. Unless you are talking about kids since little kids are just dumb. Little kids mimic everything so they are more likely do this now the older you get you need to have more expected.

That's life. Even in movies people have to learn lessons the hard way. It's a part of growing up. It makes a person more wise.
